Documentation

How to get CheckRoost watching your sites, what it asks of the machines it runs on, and the accounts it can read from. Most of it you can skip: start with your first monitor and come back when you need the rest.

CheckRoost watches sites from the outside — whether they answer, whether their certificates, domains and DNS are in order, whether anything on them changed — and tells you when one needs somebody. The WordPress plugin and the server agent are the two pieces that run on your own machines, so they are documented in full, before you install them rather than after.

In a hurry?

Your first monitor is the only page you need today. A site is being checked a minute after you save it, and nothing in it needs a plugin, an agent or a connected account.
